Springhill Township Trash Billing Notice: Upon processing the second quarter bills, we experienced a glitch in our garbage billing system. If any residents receive a bill for Q2, please disregard it as the billing total is inaccurate. The issue has been fixed and we are working diligently to send out the new, accurate bills for Quarter 2. Springhill Township apologizes for any confusion/inconvenience this may cause. Please note that the Springhill Township Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. will be held at the Appalachian Community Center rather than the Springhill Township Building. Springhill Township will not be holding the monthly Planning Commission meeting Wednesday, June 3rd due to not receiving any applications.

Springhill Township will hold their auditors meeting on Tuesday June 2, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Township building. The township encourages its residents to attend the meeting to see an overview of what was spent in the year 2025.

Springhill Township would like to inform residents that the bridge located on Tunnel Hill Rd will be closed starting Friday, May 1st, until further notice. The structure has been deemed unsafe for public travel. We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we address this matter with safety as our top priority. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the township office directly.

The Springhill Township Office will be closed from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday April 7, 2026 while staff attend an ethics presentation in Smithfield. During this time, residents may still submit payments using the secure drop box located at the office door. The office will reopen and resume normal operations after 2:00 PM.
