- Holiday Trash Collection Schedule
Springhill Township wishes to notify residents about the upcoming adjustments to garbage collection during the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Trash will be collected as usual on Monday (Dec 23/30) and Tuesday (Dec 24/31). The Wednesday routes will be serviced on Thursday (Dec 26/Jan 2). We wish all residents a safe and joyful holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Notice of Date/Time Change: The Springhill Township Supervisors' regular meeting for December 2024 is now scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the township building located at 198 Lake Lynn Road . The 2025 Proposed Budget will be available for review.

- New Polling Location for Election Day
Residents should be aware that the polling place for the upcoming Election Day on November 5, 2024, has been relocated to Springhill Furnace Presbyterian Church (2459 Springhill Furnace Rd, Lake Lynn, PA 15451), situated near the junction of Gans Road and 857. Voting hours are from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

- Township Completes Road Resurfacing Projects
Springhill Township recently completed resurfacing multiple township roads, including Lake Lynn Road, Cornish Road, Richill School Road, Raymond Franks Road, and Bunker HIll Road. We are grateful for everyone's patience during the completion of these projects!

- Springhill Township Awarded $800,000 in Grant Money
Exciting news from State Representative Charity Grimm Krupa's office! Springhill Township has received a $500,000 grant for vital road slide repairs on Nilan Road and Fancy Hill Road. This grant will ensure continued access for township residents and help prevent any further damage. State Line Municipal Service Authority received $300,000 for a water distribution system upgrade project to serve Springhill Township residents. The funding for these projects comes from the CFA, an independent agency of the Department of Community and Economic Development that oversees various economic development and community improvement programs in Pennsylvania. - Township Meetings on October 17, 2024
A Special Meeting will be conducted by Springhill Township on Thursday, October 17 at 4 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to allow for Public Comment on the Final Springhill Solar Ordinance and Springhill Township Injection Well Ordinance. Immediately following the special meeting, the Regular Monthly Township meeting will be held. Both meetings will be held at the Appalachian Community Center. Starting today, August 30, 2024, Springhill Township will begin the process of tar and chipping several township roads, which will continue throughout the next week.
