Springhill Township residents are invited to review and comment on PennDOT’s proposed Sheepskin Trail – Nilan Bridge Project, now available for public input here.
About the Project
PennDOT’s plan includes:
Construction of approximately 2,100 feet of new hiking and biking trail along Nilan Road.
A new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Nilan Road to connect existing sections of the Sheepskin Trail.
Trail surfacing, drainage upgrades, and related improvements.
A projected construction schedule running from Fall 2026 through Fall 2027.
