Gans Mail Delivery Update

The Gans Post Office ceased operations on December 31, 2024. The USPS has recently shared the following information with a resident concerning mail delivery to Gans:

• Residents should continue collecting their mail at the Point Marion Post Office until delivery services to Gans are established.

• A cluster box will be set up once the weather improves, though its location remains undisclosed. Until then, residents need to go to the Point Marion Post Office to retrieve their mail.

• Residents wanting home delivery should reach out to the Point Marion Post Office to verify their eligibility. Those who have already set up a mailbox for rural delivery must keep picking up their mail in Point Marion until Fayette County 911 verifies their address with the Post Office.
