Work on the Columbia Gas pipeline retirement/replacement project is expected to start on February 18. A contractor will be clearing off all the trees and brush and grinding down tree stumps along a 3.5 mile right-of-way running from Albert Gallatin Middle School to the intersection of Morgantown Road and Lake Lynn Road. After the right-of-way is cleared a second contractor will begin the excavation work, and the township will post that start date once we receive it.

Affected property owners should receive individual notifications by mail.
